Bullfrogs and Butterflies

Bullfrogs and Butterflies became one the most recognisable songs in Contemporary Christian Music. Written by Barry in 1978 to explain to his young son the concept of being 'born again'. It was sighted by the President of Dallas Theological Seminary as one of the best examples he could think of for putting the Gospel into normal everyday language.

The term "Bullfrogs and Butterflies" has continued to capture the imagination of people around the world. While the original ministry that Barry was involved with at the time no longer exists, Barry has gone on to record several Children’s' albums, some of which have never been commercially released.

Over the last year, Barry has been reviewing all his music with the result in most of his Children's recording being remastered and re-edited, to suite today's new generation of children.

The result is along with new art work from Don Gillespie a whole new "Bullfrogs and Butterflies" series is now available. In an age where there is uncertainty, chaos, wars, and an attack on our Biblical foundations, where sexuality and witchcraft are increasingly imposed on children, Barry McGuire's Bullfrogs and Butterflies bring a positive message, comfort, encouragement, enlightenment and rein enforce the Gospel truths for children in a fresh way.

Barry's new Bullfrogs and Butterflies has Barry (the Bear) telling stories and getting the 'butterflies' to join in on the music and adventures.
